In addition to supporting Windows, I also offer customers an installation of Linux Mint.
Linux Mint can be installed along side a Windows installation (as a 2nd operating system), or can be a replacement to it on your PC/Laptop or Mac.
Linux Mint
I have already moved to Linux on my own systems, and find it solid and reliable in use. Its updates install quickly and rarely disrupt my computer. Also it isn't very much susceptible to malware & viruses.
3 Methods of Installation
1) I could install it into free space on your hard drive to give you a Dual Booting computer. You could choose which OS to boot each time the machine starts up. SDo you can compare the two systems with Windows or Mac still on the computer.
2) If disk space doesn't allow option 1), Or if you are convinced that going to Linux Mint is good for you, I can clear your disk (having saved your data first) and install Mint as the only operating system.
3) Upgrade at the Same Time - I could install Linux Mint (or a dual booting Linux/Windows system) onto an entirely new Solid State Hard Drive and transfer your data onto it. So you have a much faster machine as well!
